These RJ45 shielded connector plug are designed to work specifically with CAT6A cable. These RJ45 contacts are gold plated. They have 8 pins and 8 conductors (8p8c) with inserts included as part of the design. The wire alignment insert provides an efficient termination without any need of tools. A cable stripper is however recommended to expose the inner conductors. So here we’re going to concentrate on cable management in the office-related environment meeting the cat6 cat6a cat7 CAT8 Keystone Jack, Patch Panel cabling system.
This connectors Housing is shielded with zinc die-cast nickel plating. This makes our CAT6A plugs more durable while being less prone to corrosion and rust. All our Category 6A Plugs come standard with two different sizes of boots. These boots provide better stress relief support around the connection point of the cable and connector.

How to punch down the keystone jack?
Step 1: Strip off the jacket about 2 ½” on your cable. Make sure not cut through the cable. if you do, you will need to start over.
Step two: Pull 4 pairs of cable back and cut off the rip cord and spline. ( the CAT5E cable has no an internal spline, but CAT6 and CAT6A will). Make sure no conductor nicks.
Step three: Orient the conductor 4 pairs so they line up with the T568A or T568B color code schema labeling the keystone jack,use the Punch down tool impacted, punch all eight wires fully into the IDC slots. The T568A and T568B are very similar, but T568B is most commonly used nowadays. Do not pull any part of cable jacket into the Keystone Jack housing, if you do, that will make proper temination difficult or impossible.
Step Four: the conductors should be fully seated in the IDC slots and flush cut off. Snap on the IDC cap and done. All ready to insert into a wall face plate, surface mount box or keystone jack patch panel.
